Recruit Root seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and decision making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, prepare reports, build forecasts, and provide insights that help drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business
decisions. - Track KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost
efficiency. - Assist in cash flow analysis, revenue forecasting, and expense management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational
initiatives. - Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial
policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Knowledge of SQL or Python for financial analysis is a plus.
- MBA, CFA, or CPA (or progress toward certification) preferred.
